If you want to be a doctor you should have an idea about NEET. NEET 2018 is a national level undergraduate medical entrance exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It will be held in 1st week of May 2016 for admission to MBBS and BDS seats under 15% All India Quota in Government medical and dental colleges of India excluding Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir. Many State Governments/Universities/Institutions voluntarily participate in the NEET 2018 and also accept its merit list to offer admission in the Medical Colleges/Dental Colleges against seats under their control.
As per the last order by Hon. Supreme Court, no other exam except NEET will be held for offering admission into MBBS/BDS courses in India from the year 2018 (except AIIMS & JIPMER). All seats (MBBS/BDS) of any medical/dental college will be filled by the score of NEET examination only.
NEET 2018 can be written in 8 regional languages including English, Tamil, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi and Telugu.
All the Indian citizen candidates should possess AADHAAR card issued by UIDAI. At the time of filling application form of NEET 2018, the candidates will have to enter their AADHAAR number, name, date of birth & gender which will be validated with the UIDAI’s data. In case, these particulars do not match, the candidates will not be able to fill the application form for NEET 2018. Therefore, the candidates are advised to ensure that their AADHAAR card has correct details of their name, date of birth & gender as per school records. If there is some mismatch in these details, the candidates should immediately get it corrected in AADHAAR data or school records.

NEET 2018 exam will be held based on the syllabus as prescribed by examination authority CBSE. The NEET 2018 exam will have a total of 180 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry Zoology and Botany subjects. The question paper will carry of 720 marks. The application form of NEET 2018 will be available tentatively in 1st week of December 2015. Candidate should submit the application form throughout On-line mode only. The application fee for NEET 2018 will be approx. Rs-550/ for SC/ST/PH Candidates & Rs- 1000/ for OBC/General candidates. NEET 2018 Application fees can be deposited throughout Credit /Debit Card / Challan. The last date of online registration is tentatively last week of January 2016.

Candidates can Download their NEET 2018 admit card by April 1st week of, 2016. NEET Admit Card 2016 shall mention important details of the candidate, including his/her name, roll number, exam centre /venue, and reporting time at allotted exam centre.
The NEET result 2016 for qualifying candidate will be declared by June 2016 depend on availability of seats, number of applicants, and toughness level of the entrance examination.NEET 2018 Result will be published on official page of NEET, i.e. www.aipmt.nic.in around month of June, 2016.
After publication of NEET 2018 Result counselling will be organised by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
